Hosted Power BI dashboards

We build your dashboards. We host them. Your whole team opens them with one link.

Send us the export you already produce. We build the pages in Power BI, host them on your own branded sign-in page, refresh them on a schedule and keep them running. Every person on staff gets a login. One flat subscription, quoted in writing.

Nothing to install, no Power BI to run on your side. Already have a dashboard? We host that too.

Hosting

The easiest way to put a Power BI dashboard in front of everyone who needs it.

You should not need a Microsoft project to show your own numbers to your own people.

Your name on it

Your seal, your colors, your own sign-in page. Your people see your department, not a vendor.

Everyone sees it

Chief, command staff, council, the clerk's office, the owner's phone. One login each, as many as you need. The subscription is flat and never counts seats.

Nothing to set up

No accounts for your staff to create, no workspace to run, no IT ticket. You email a file, we do the rest, and your pages are live in days.

Built for you, or bring your own

We build the pages from your exports. Or send the Power BI file your analyst already made and we host it as it is, with the refresh connected.

Lane 1

You have an export and no dashboard

We build it. You check it. We host it. Your analyst, if you have one, learns the model as it is built.

How the build works →
Lane 2

You have a dashboard and nobody can see it

Send the .pbix file. We put it behind your branded sign-in with a login for every person, connect the refresh, and your analyst keeps building in the tool they know.

Questions about hosting your own file →
What you get

A finished set of pages, hosted and kept current.

Your staff and your board open them without asking anyone, and without anyone running Power BI.

01

Built pages, not a blank tool

Counts by month and area, trends against prior years, the figures your board asks for every quarter. Your name and colors on every page.

02

A refresh on a schedule

You send the export, or we pull it from where it lands. The pages update, monthly by default, and you are told when they have.

03

Hosted, with a login for everyone

Your pages live on a sign-in page with your name on it. Each person signs in and sees your organization's pages. Nothing to install, nothing for your IT to run.

04

Support that answers

A number looks wrong, a column changed, a new question needs a page: write to us and we fix it.

05

One flat subscription

Quoted in writing with the build. No seat count, no surprise invoice.

06

Your analyst gets better, not sidelined

If someone on your staff already builds reports, we work alongside them: the faster ways to build and refresh, and a monthly working session with them, are part of the subscription.

How it works

Four steps, and the data path in plain words.

  1. Email us the file you already make

No setup call, no IT ticket. The export you already produce, attached to an email, is enough to start. After one short session with the people who read the report, you get a one-page scope, the written list of fields you clear for hosting, and a quote.

  2. You send the export

A spreadsheet or a scheduled export from your records, finance or point-of-sale system. Counts and figures only. Records with names, plates or case narratives stay in your systems.

  3. We build and you check

We build the model and the pages, then walk you through them. You correct anything that reads wrong before anyone else sees it.

  4. We host, refresh and keep it running

The pages run in Microsoft's cloud, the same one behind Microsoft 365 email. Each login sees only your organization's rows, and access is logged.

Two minutes each

See it from three seats.

What the chief seesThis month against a normal month and the year so far, calls by weekday and hour, and crime by type and ward, on Olathe public data.
What the city manager seesThe council page: the month and the year to date in plain sentences, six figures a council asks about, and three views by ward and offense class.
One login, your rows onlyTwo people sign in to the same service and each sees only their own organization.
Who it is for

The numbers, kept current, without a project to run.

Police chiefs and sheriffs

Calls, incidents and arrests by zone and month, the five-year comparison, and a page for the governing board.

Anything with a name on it stays in your records system, where your CJIS obligations already cover it. Your crime analyst learns the build as it happens.

City managers and clerks

Permits, utility billing, court collections, work orders, the quarterly report to council.

Pages your department heads open on Monday instead of a packet someone spends a week assembling. Your clerk or finance analyst sits in on the build and learns the model and the refresh.

Owners of a 20 to 50 person business

Sales by week, margin by line, hours by crew, receivables past due.

The spreadsheet you build from three systems every month, built once and refreshed for you.

Already running Power BI in your own tenant? We build it there instead (the main site). Hosting is for everyone who would rather not run it.

Plans

One flat monthly subscription. Three sizes.

Every plan includes the hosting, the refresh, the logins, support and a monthly working session with your analyst. The build is quoted separately, once, in writing.

Standard

Departments and offices up to about 50 people, and businesses of that size.

$199a month

  • Up to 5 dashboard pages hosted under your name
  • A login for every person on staff
  • Monthly refresh from your export
  • Support by email, answered the same business day
  • A monthly working session with your analyst
  • Your files returned at exit, no exit fee
Ask for the Standard quote →

Custom

Larger agencies, county-wide or regional groups, anything with special requirements.

Quoted

  • As many pages and departments as the scope needs
  • Your own domain on the sign-in page
  • Refresh schedule set to your systems
  • Written security and data-handling terms to your counsel's wording
  • Working sessions scheduled to your team
  • Your files returned at exit, no exit fee
Ask for the Custom quote →

Hosting a dashboard you already built: the same plans, with the build fee replaced by a short review of your file. Every plan ends the same way: no exit fee, pages off at the end of the paid period, your .pbix files and model returned.

What stays with you

We host pages. We do not take custody of your records.

  • Named records stay in your systems. The hosted pages carry only the counts and figures you have cleared. Nothing with a name, a plate, an account number or a case narrative is sent to us or stored by us.
  • You decide what is on the page. Every field is on a written list you approve before the first refresh.
  • Each login sees only your rows. Separation is enforced on the server, not by a password on a shared file.
  • Access is logged. Who signed in and what they opened is recorded.
  • The files are yours. The .pbix files and the semantic model behind your pages belong to you from the day they are accepted.

If you leave

Leaving is a step, not a negotiation. You receive the .pbix files for every page, the semantic model behind them and the documentation. Nothing is held back.

Your pages and logins are switched off at the end of the paid period, and we confirm in writing when that is done. If you want to keep running the dashboards in your own Microsoft tenant, the files open there as they are. There is no exit fee.

On the way

Four things we are building.

None is included in a subscription until it is built and you have seen it work on your own pages.

Working prototype

Your monthly report, drafted from the numbers

The first draft of the narrative that goes with the figures, for you to edit and sign. Read a sample drafted from Olathe public data.

Planned

Ask a question in plain English

Type the question you would ask your analyst; get the figure and the page it came from.

Working prototype

A five-line Monday email: what moved this week

Which figures rose, which fell and where to look, sent to the people you name before the week starts. Read a sample.

Available on request

An alert when a number moves

A message when a figure crosses a line you set, such as overtime hours or receivables past 60 days.

Free sample dashboard

Send us your work email. We build a one-page sample from public data about your organization.

We read your organization off the address, pull the public figures that fit it (crime data for a department, open data for a city, industry figures for a business) and send back a one-page sample within seven business days. No cost, no obligation, nothing needed from your systems.

We build three a month. If this month is full, or nothing public fits your organization, we write back within one business day and say so. Your email is used only to send the sample.

Request the sample

One line is enough: the command staff packet, the council report, the month-end sheet.
Questions

Questions people ask.

What does it cost?

Two figures, both in writing: the build once, and a flat monthly subscription by the size of your organization (the Standard, Plus and Custom plans above). The subscription does not change with how many people sign in. Ask and you have the figure for your size within one business day.

Do our people need Power BI accounts to see the pages?

No. Your people sign in to your own Blue Peak Dashboards page with the login we issue them. The Power BI service behind the pages runs in our environment and is part of the subscription. You do not create Microsoft accounts for viewers or run anything on your side.

Can you host a dashboard our analyst already built?

Yes. Send the .pbix file. We review it, connect the refresh to the export it reads from, put it behind your branded sign-in with a login for every person, and your analyst keeps building in the tool they know. The build fee is replaced by a short review of the file.

Where does our data live, and what do you hold?

In Microsoft's cloud, the same one behind Microsoft 365 email, and only the counts and figures you have cleared. Records with names, plates, account numbers or case narratives stay in your own systems and are never sent to us. Each login sees only your organization's rows, separated on the server, and access is logged.

Is it safe enough for a police department?

The hosted pages hold the kind of figures a department already publishes in its annual report or sends to the FBI: counts by category, area and month. Anything covered by your CJIS obligations stays in your records system. The field list you approve before the first refresh is the boundary, and your terminal agency coordinator can read it.

Who owns the dashboards?

You do. The .pbix files and the semantic model behind your pages belong to you from the day they are accepted, and you receive them in full if you ever stop the subscription. Nothing is held back.

What happens if we cancel?

You receive the .pbix files, the semantic model and the documentation. Your pages and logins are switched off at the end of the paid period and we confirm in writing when that is done. There is no exit fee. If you want to keep running the dashboards in your own Microsoft tenant, the files open there as they are.

We already have someone who makes our reports. Do we still need this?

Yes, and they are the first person we work with. They sit in on the build, learn the model and the refresh, and pick up the faster ways to build pages. A monthly working session with them is part of the subscription, and the files are theirs at exit, so what they learn stays with them.

We already have Power BI. Do we need this?

Maybe not. If your organization runs Power BI in its own Microsoft tenant and has someone to publish and maintain the reports, our standard build in your tenant is usually the better fit, and we will say so. Hosting is for organizations that would rather not run it themselves.

One line is enough

Send us the report you make by hand every month.

Name it, and add a rough figure for how long it takes today. You get an honest read back within one business day: what it would take, and whether it is worth doing at all.
